I do wonder whether Josh Powell was given a pass by the Utah police investigating the disappearance of the wife. Mr. Powell was white, married, male and a parent. That is they type of individual that conservative Utah holds in high regard.

The problem with the National Parks is that they are family friendly. They charge a per-vehicle entrance fee, which means a single person must pay $20-$25 to enter a park. Coupled with the cost of gas to get to the middle of nowhere, that entrance fee is way too steep for a single person.

Back in 1999, before the Biggest Loser, I spent a week that I couldn't afford at a Boot Camp style resort. That was one brutal week but it turned out to be money well spent. While I was there I learned enough to quit the pasta, alcohol, red meat and caffeine.

No husband, no kids, no pets no worries. I zonk out and get 7-8 hours of blissful sleep without a problem.

Having a closed social network or limited social network of just a spouse has shown to reduce lifespan. You might consider adding a few friends if you want to life a long life.

The unemployment rate is 30% in some areas. Is it more important for a parent to be able to see and parent their kids, or does the judicial system think it is more important that noncustodial parents find work in another state so they can spew forth money at the other custodial parent?

I have a friend who donate 40% of his liver to another friend who was a habitual drug user which is why the man's liver was failing.
